Welcome to Buckingham Riding Club's website. You should find all of the information that you need about the Club on this site. You will find the forms for rallies, latest news, competition dates, handy downloads, pictures from rallies and clinics and much more.
Buckingham Riding Club is a friendly and welcoming group of like-minded equestrian enthusiasts. We always encourage new members to join the club. Although competitive success for our some of our members is important, the club's main objective is to provide training and support at affordable prices for all levels of horse and rider. Most importantly though, the club is all about having fun!
The Club has a current membership of around 75, drawn mainly from the counties of Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. It is affiliated to the British Horse Society in Area 5 of the British Riding Clubs movement. Membership is confined to those aged 18 or over.
Our principal activity is to arrange affordable rallies and clinics with professional instructors, which usually take place during the middle of the day on most Wednesdays throughout the year. To cater for those who work there are also rallies in the evening and on other days including weekends. We also send Teams and Individuals to compete at Area 5 and other Riding Club shows and events, including several of our own.
After each Committee Meeting this Web Site is updated and the resulting information sheets - the Newsletter and information on Rallies, Competitions, Teams etc are sent to Members by e-mail, or by post to those who have indicated on their Application Forms their preference to receive Club mailings by this medium.
The Club is also on Facebook (the link is on the right).

For anybody attending any RC event, including rallies, clinics and fun rides, approved hats (see below) are required. If competing for the club, they need to be tagged with an orange tag. If riding at championships, you should take your hat, passport and horse to the Flu Vac area before going anywhere else. And good luck!
Please note that there is not a selection process for competing in teams. If you want to ride for the club please let us know and you can come along!
